Reporting on Behalf of Employees

What should I do if my employee is unable to report? 

Step 1:   Start the investigation - this will initiate the report with the Provincial Workplace Health Contact Centre. 

Step 2:  Have the employee call the Provincial Workplace Health Contact Centre to complete the report when they are able or if more than a few days, please call the Contact Centre to complete the report on their behalf. 

Please remember, if your employee is admitted to the hospital due to serious injuries sustained at work, the event is likely Immediately Reportable to WorkSafeBC.
