A titre is a blood test that may have been recommended by your health care provider to determine whether or not you have immunity for a specific disease. ‎

Interpreting Titre Results:

  • Equivocal: this means that you do not have enough immunity against the disease and further vaccinations are recommended. If your titre was done after being vaccinated, please discuss with your health care provider or the person that will be immunizing you.
  • Non-Reactive and Non-Responder: this means you do not have immunity against the disease after completing two full series of Hepatitis B vaccines; and further vaccinations are not recommended. Please discuss with your health care provider as additional testing and guidance may be recommended.
